Progress on my Orange Peel Temperate Quilt of 2020
Sewing-wise, it's been a fairly quiet week for me, with only a pile of leaf blocks to share with you.
I'll continue to make a few more of these little blocks before I sew more rows together and watch the quilt have a growth spurt. It's nice to see the quilt grow when I've been focussing on the small pieces that fit into my hand.

Temperature Quilt & Cake

On Friday, I joined the FNwF girls and sat down to trace out a bunch of petals leaves to some very fine interfacing. I cut these out roughly and then sewed them to my strips of petal fabrics.

It was a lovely warm autumn day yesterday with my backyard thermometer getting up over 30C. Today is meant to reach the high 20's again and then a cool change will sweep through with max temperatures forecast in the high teens to celebrate Mothers Day.
